On July 30, 2011, elBulli -the five-time winner of the World's Best Restaurant award- closed its doors to become, in 2014, elBulli Foundation. Its chef Ferran Adrià served a special and spectacular last dinner, acompanied by the best chefs in the world who have worked at elBulli; René Redzepi (Noma), Andoni Luis Aduriz (Mugaritz), Grand Achat (Alinea), Massimo Bottura (Osteria Francescana) and José Andrés (Think Food Group). Together, they became the best team ever seen in a kitchen. They prepared the last menu and served the last dish, “pêche Melba” in a tribute to the father of the modern cuisine, Auguste Escoffier.
elBulli, last waltz is an exclusive documentary that show us all the details about the last day of elBulli restaurant and also, through an intimate interview, how its main protagonist Ferran Adrià, lived this experience.
